uparyupari sainyānām asya śatros tad añjasā | śiraḥ karṇasya sotsedham iṣuḥ so 'py aharad drutam ||
サンジャヤは言った。「その矢は軍勢の列の上を疾く走り、たやすくカルナ――アルジュナの恐るべき敵――を打ち倒し、ただ一撃の迅速な斬断で、髻の飾りもろとも首を落とした。」
संजय उवाच
