पाण्डवेयस्त्वसम्भ्रान्तो वायव्यास्त्रेण वीर्यवान्‌ । अपोवाह तदाभ्राणि राधेयस्य प्रपश्यत:

pāṇḍaveyas tv asambhrānto vāyavyāstreṇa vīryavān | apovāha tadābhrāṇi rādheyasya prapaśyataḥ ||

サञ्जयは語った。パーンドゥの子は少しも動揺せず、剛勇をもって風の武器(ヴァーヤヴィヤ・アストラ)を用い、ラーデーヤの眼前でその雲を吹き払った。この一瞬は、戦場におけるアルジュナの心の不動を示す――敵の威嚇に対し、恐慌や残虐ではなく、規律ある技と澄んだ目的意識で応じるのである。
