saha gāndhārarājena sabhāyāṃ yad abhāṣata

Translation

彼は、ガンダーラ王とともに王の सभा（宮廷会議）で語られた言葉を語り伝えた——宮廷における助言と応酬が戦の趨勢を形づくり、また助言する者と決断する者とが負う道義の責めがいかに重いかを示すためである。
