अध्याय ९ — कर्णस्य प्रहारः, योधयुग्मनियोजनम्, शैनेय-कैकेययोर्युद्धविन्यासः
अपतिहसि कृष्णेति ब्रुवन् पार्थानवैक्षत । यस्य नासीद् भयं पार्थ: सपुत्रै: सजनार्दनै:
apatihasi kṛṣṇeti bruvan pārthān avaikṣata | yasya nāsīd bhayaṃ pārthaḥ saputraiḥ sajanārdanaiḥ ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは言った。「『汝は討たれた、クリシュナよ』と言い放ち、彼はプリターの子らを見やった。だがパールタは、己が子らとともに、傍らにジャナールダナを従え、少しも恐れを示さなかった。」
