Transliteration

tasmin nipatite bhūmau bhīmaḥ kruddho viśāmpate

Translation

サンジャヤは言った――地に倒れ伏したとき、ビーマは、ああ人の主よ、怒りに燃えて激しく応じた。この一句は、戦士の転倒ののちに噴き上がる憤怒の奔流を告げる。悲嘆と怒りはさらなる殺戮を駆り立て、戦におけるダルマの要請のもとで自制を試すのである。
