śrutvā vyāmoham āgacchac choka-vyākulitendriyaḥ |

Translation

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは言った。「王よ、これを聞くや、アンビカーの子ドリタラーシュトラは惑乱に沈み、気を失って倒れた。彼の諸感官は悲嘆にかき乱された。軍の主だった勇士が討たれ、大軍はほとんど滅び、わずかばかりしか残らぬと知って、彼は憂いの重みに崩れ落ちたのである。」
