Karna’s Suppression of the Panchala–Somaka Forces
सात्यकिस्तु रणे राजंस्तावकानामनीकिनीम् । अभिदुद्राव वेगेन ततोडनीकमभज्यत
sātyakis tu raṇe rājan tāvakānām anīkinīm | abhidudrāva vegena tato 'nīkam abhajyata ||
サンジャヤは言った――王よ、戦のただ中でサーティヤキ（Sātyaki）は疾風のごとき勢いで、そなたの軍勢へ全速で突入した。その突撃の衝撃に打たれ、かの部隊はたちまち崩れ散った。戦とはかくも、整然たる軍でさえ、恐れぬ決意と勝る勢いの前に瓦解しうるものだ。
