एवं प्रवृत्ते संग्रामे गजवाजिनरक्षये
evaṁ pravṛtte saṅgrāme gajavājinara-kṣaye
サンジャヤは言った。かくして戦はうねり続け、ついには滅びの光景となった—象も馬も斬り伏せられ、人もまた滅びに遭った。戦の勢いは、分け隔てなき殺戮へと変じたのである。
