अद्य तौ पुरुषव्यात्रौ लोहिताक्षौ परंतपौ | वासुदेवार्जुनौ कर्ण द्रष्टास्येकरथे स्थितो
adya tau puruṣavyātrau lohitākṣau paraṃtapau | vāsudevārjunau karṇa draṣṭāsy ekarathe sthito ||
サンジャヤは言った。「今日、カルナよ、汝はあの二人の虎のごとき英雄—赤き眼を燃やし、敵を灼き尽くす—ヴァースデーヴァ（クリシュナ）とアルジュナが、一つの戦車の上に並び立つのを見るであろう。」
