सपताका रथाश्रैते पञज्चालानां महात्मनाम्
sapatākā rathāś caite pāñcālānāṁ mahātmanām | ye mahāmanasaḥ pāñcāla-vīrāṇāṁ rathāḥ, yeṣu patākāḥ praphullāḥ | paśyata, śreṣṭha-vānara-yukta-dhvajāvān aparājito vīraḥ kuntīkumāro 'rjunaḥ samākrāntum ihaiva āyāti ||
サンジャヤは言った。「これらは大いなる魂をもつパンチャーラの勇士たちの戦車、旗旒を翻している。見よ――クンティーの子アルジュナ、不敗の英雄、尊き猿の徽章を掲げる旗印のもと、攻撃を仕掛けんとここへ進み来たる。」
