विभ्राजन्ति रथे कर्ण विमाने दैवते यथा । “कर्ण! देवताओंके विमान-जैसे रथपर ये ध्वज हवाके झोंके खा-खाकर कड़कड़ शब्द करते हुए शोभा पा रहे हैं
vibhrājanti rathe karṇa vimāne daivate yathā |
サञ्जयは言った。「おおカルナよ、汝の戦車の上で旗は、まるで神々のヴィマーナに掲げられたかのように燦然と輝く。突風に幾度も打たれて鋭いぱちぱちという音を立て、その響きが戦車の威容をいっそう高める——展開する戦のただ中に現れた、兆しめいた武の華やぎである。」
