यस्य ज्यातलनिर्घोषं श्रुत्वा भयकरं महत्
yasya jyātalanirghoṣaṃ śrutvā bhayakaraṃ mahat
サンジャヤは言った。「彼の弓弦の張り鳴る音と掌を打つ音とから生じる、巨大で恐るべき轟きを聞けば……。」この一句は戦場の気配をいっそう高め、武の音そのものを道義と心理に働く力として描く。勇気を揺さぶり、武威を告げ、迫り来る殺戮を予兆するのである。
संजय उवाच
