अथ तां पतितां दृष्टवा गृह्मान्यां च महागदाम्
atha tāṁ patitāṁ dṛṣṭvā gṛhmānyāṁ ca mahāgadām
サンジャヤは言った。――そのとき、彼女が倒れているのを見、さらに大いなる棍棒（ガダー）がそこに横たわるのを見て、見物の者たちは暴力の冷厳な帰結と向き合わざるを得なかった。運命とダルマにかなう報いが戦士に背を向けるとき、驕りと力がいかに速やかに崩れ去るかを。
