Droṇa-parva Adhyāya 94: Sātyaki–Sudarśana Yuddha (सात्यकि–सुदर्शन युद्ध)
त॑ द्रोण: पञ्चविंशत्या मर्मभिद्धिरजिद्मगै: । अन्तेवासिनमाचार्यों महेष्वासं समार्पयत्,उस समय आचार्य द्रोणने अपने महाधनुर्धर शिष्य अर्जुनको पचीस मर्मभेदी बाणोंद्वारा घायल कर दिया
sañjaya uvāca |
sa droṇaḥ pañcaviṃśatyā marmabhidbhir ajidmagaiḥ |
antevāsinam ācāryo maheṣvāsaṃ samārpayat ||
サञ्जयは語った。すると師ドローナは、自らの弟子である大弓手アルジュナに、急所を貫く二十五の矢を浴びせ、戦いを最も苛烈な刃先へと押し上げた。その瞬間、戦の道義的緊張は鋭く際立つ。陣営の義務に縛られた師は、かつて鍛え上げた弟子に対し、恐るべき技を向けねばならない。戦場のダルマは、忠誠の痛ましい衝突を強いることがあるのだ。
संजय उवाच
