Droṇa-parva Adhyāya 94: Sātyaki–Sudarśana Yuddha (सात्यकि–सुदर्शन युद्ध)
teṣāṁ saṁyacchatāṁ saṅkhye parasparam ajihāgaiḥ | arjuno dhvajinīṁ rājann abhīkṣṇaṁ samakampayat ||

The verse highlights the dharma of maintaining order and mutual support in crisis: armies survive through discipline and cohesion, yet righteous or superior skill (here Arjuna’s) can repeatedly test that stability. Ethically, it points to the tension between duty-bound resistance and the overwhelming consequences of martial excellence.
In the thick of combat, the Kaurava soldiers are trying to steady and control one another’s movements and keep formation, while Arjuna’s continuous volleys of arrows repeatedly shake and unsettle their entire host.
