Droṇa–Sātyaki Engagement
संजय उवाच एवमुक्तस्तदाचार्य: प्रत्युवाच स्मयन्निव । मामजित्वा न बीभत्सो शक््यो जेतुं जयद्रथ:
sañjaya uvāca evam uktas tadācāryaḥ pratyuvāca smayann iva | mām ajitvā na bībhatsaḥ śakyo jetuṃ jayadrathaḥ ||
サンジャヤは言った。かく告げられると、その師は、かすかな微笑みを浮かべるかのように答えた。「ビーバッツァ（アルジュナ）よ、まず我を打ち破らずして、ジャヤドラタを征することはできぬ。」
