tatas tava suto rājan dṛṣṭvā sainyaṃ tathāgatam | duḥśāsano bhṛśaṃ kruddho yuddhāyārjunam abhyagāt ||
サञ्जयは言った。「それから王よ、軍がそのような有様であるのを見て、汝の子ドゥフシャーサナは激しい怒りに駆られ、戦うためアルジュナの前へと進み出た。」
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights how anger (krodha) can drive immediate, aggressive action in war; ethically, it points to the danger of letting passion rather than discernment govern one’s conduct, even within a kṣatriya context.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that Duḥśāsana, seeing the army’s situation, becomes intensely enraged and moves forward to confront Arjuna in battle.
