अध्याय ९१ — शैनेयस्य गजानीकभेदनं जलसंधवधश्च

Chapter 91: Sātyaki breaks the elephant array and slays Jalasaṃdha

यत्तस्य घटमानस्य क्षिप्रं विक्षिपत: शरान्‌ | लाघवात्‌ पाण्डुपुत्रस्य व्यस्मयन्त परे जना:

yat tasya ghaṭamānasya kṣipraṁ vikṣipataḥ śarān | lāghavāt pāṇḍuputrasya vyasmayanta pare janāḥ ||

サञ्जयは語った。パーンドゥの子が戦いを押し進め、矢を矢継ぎ早に放つと、敵の武者たちはその手の軽やかさと速さに驚嘆した――それは戦のただ中にあって、ただの激情ではなく、規律に支えられた熟達を示す卓越であった。
