Sātyaki’s Assurance and the Protection of Dharmarāja (सात्यकिवचनम्—धर्मराजरक्षणविचारः)
तत्र गत्वा हृषीकेश: कल्पयामास सूतवत् । रथं रथवरस्याजौ वानरर्षभलक्षणम्,वहाँ पहुँचकर भगवान् श्रीकृष्णने एक सारथिके समान रथियोंमें श्रेष्ठ अर्जुनके वानरश्रेष्ठ हनुमानके चिह्नसे युक्त ध्वजावाले रथको युद्धके लिये सुसज्जित किया
tatra gatvā hṛṣīkeśaḥ kalpayāmāsa sūtavat | rathaṁ rathavarasyājau vānararṣabhalakṣaṇam ||
サञ्जयは語った。そこへ至ると、フリシーケーシャ（クリシュナ）は熟練の御者のごとく、戦場における車戦の第一人者アルジュナの戦車を整え、戦の備えを施した。その旗には、猿族の中の雄牛たるハヌマーンの徽章が掲げられていた。この場面は、戦における規律ある準備を示す。神の導きある側でさえ、驕りや力任せではなく、周到な支度と奉仕、そして己の役目を極めることに拠って立つのである。
