Educational Q&A

Even in a setting dominated by violence and rivalry, the epic highlights dharmic conduct through gestures like proper welcome and respectful speech, implying that ethical restraint and courtesy remain meaningful in crisis.

Sañjaya narrates that a leading hero (described as 'tiger among men') speaks to Kṛṣṇa (Mādhava) and receives him with a formal welcome, marking the start or continuation of an important exchange.
