The Neutralization of Alambusa
द्वितीयां पुरुषव्याप्र: कक्ष्यां निर्गम्य पार्थिव: । ततो वेदविदो वृद्धानपश्यद् ब्राह्मणर्षभान्,फिर शिविरकी दूसरी ड्योढ़ी पार करके पुरुषसिंह राजा युधिष्िरने वेदवेत्ता वृद्ध ब्राह्मण-शिरोमणियोंको देखा
dvitīyāṃ puruṣavyāghraḥ kakṣyāṃ nirgamyapārthivaḥ | tato vedavido vṛddhān apaśyad brāhmaṇarṣabhān ||
サンジャヤは言った。第二の囲いを越えると、人々の中の獅子たる王は次の区画へと歩み出た。そこに、ヴェーダに通暁する老いたブラーフマナの聖仙たち、同輩の中でも卓越した者たちが見えた――戦の騒擾のただ中に立つ、学識と道徳的威徳の象徴であった。
संजय उवाच
Even in a war setting, the narrative foregrounds reverence for Vedic learning and the moral weight of elders. A king’s strength is shown not only by martial power but by seeking and honoring dharmic counsel from those grounded in śāstra and age-tested wisdom.
Sañjaya describes the king moving past the second guarded precinct of the camp and entering further inside, where he sees venerable Brahmin sages—elder Veda-knowers—assembled, indicating a moment of consultation or encounter with religious and ethical authorities.
