Transliteration

namo viśvasya pataye mahatāṁ pataye namaḥ | namaḥ sahasraśirase sahasrabhuja-mṛtyave ||

Translation

サञ्जयは言った。「全宇宙の主に敬礼する。偉大なる者たちの主に敬礼する。千の頭を持つ御方に敬礼する。千の腕そのものが死である御方に敬礼する。」戦の恐怖のただ中で、この言葉は展開する暴力をより高い主権のもとに置き、最強の戦士とその運命さえ、人の支配を超えた宇宙の秩序の内にあることを思い起こさせる。
