Chapter 79
एवं विलपतीं दीनां सुभद्रां शोककर्शिताम् अन्वपद्यत पाज्चाली वैराटीसहितां तदा,इस प्रकार उत्तरासहित विलाप करती हुई दीन-दुःखी एवं शोकसे दुर्बल सुभद्राके पास उस समय द्रौपदी भी आ पहुँची
evaṁ vilapatīṁ dīnāṁ subhadrāṁ śokakarśitām anvapadyata pāñcālī vairāṭī-sahitāṁ tadā
サञ्जयは言った。その時、パンチャーラのドラウパディーもまた、嘆き悲しみ、憂いにやつれたスバドラのもとへ、ヴィラाटのウッタラーを伴ってやって来た。
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights dharmic solidarity in suffering: when grief overwhelms someone, the ethical response is compassionate presence and support, especially among family and community affected by war.
Subhadrā is grieving and lamenting, weakened by sorrow. Draupadī arrives to her, accompanied by Uttarā, indicating a communal gathering of the bereaved women in the war’s tragic aftermath.
