दिष्ट्या महारथो धीर: पितुस्तुल्यपराक्रम: । क्षात्रेण विधिना प्राप्तो वीराभिलषितां गतिम्,यह सौभाग्यकी बात है कि पिताके तुल्य पराक्रमी धीर महारथी अभिमन्यु क्षत्रियोचित कर्तव्यका पालन करके उस उत्तम गतिको प्राप्त हुआ है, जिसकी वीर पुरुष अभिलाषा करते हैं
diṣṭyā mahāratho dhīraḥ pitus-tulya-parākramaḥ | kṣātreṇa vidhinā prāpto vīrābhilaṣitāṃ gatim ||
ヴァーユは言った。「まことに幸いである。父に等しき武勇を備えた不屈の大車戦士アビマンニュは、クシャトリヤの定められた務めを果たし、勇士たちが希い求める崇高の境地に到達したのだ。」
