द्रोणानीक-व्यतिक्रमः — Kṛṣṇa–Arjuna Break Through Droṇa’s Array
स्थास्यते रक्षितो वीरै: सिंधुराट् स सुदुर्मद: । “ट्रोणाचार्यने ऐसा व्यूह बनाया है, जिसका अगला आधा भाग शकटके आकारका है और पिछला कमलके समान। कमलव्यूहके मध्यकी कर्णिकाके बीच सूचीव्यूहके पार्श्व भागमें युद्धदुर्मद सिन्धुराज जयद्रथ खड़ा होगा और अन्यान्य वीर उसकी रक्षा करते रहेंगे
sthāsyate rakṣito vīraiḥ sindhurāṭ sa sudurmadaḥ |
サンジャヤは言った。シンドゥの王ジャヤドラタは、驕りに酔いしれてそこに立ち、四方を勇士たちに守られるであろう。展開する戦の策の中で、その護衛は道義と戦術の両面から意図して選び取られたもの—一人の男を陣形の中心に据え、義務と忠誠、そして暴力の代価とを彼に収斂させるためである。
