Droṇānīka-praveśa: Arjuna’s respectful appeal to Droṇa and renewed advance toward Jayadratha (द्रोणानीकप्रवेशः)
स दर्शपौर्णमासाभ्यां कालेष्वाग्रयणेन च । चातुर्मास्यैश्न विविधैर्यज्नैशज्ञावाप्तदक्षिणै:
sa darśapaurṇamāsābhyāṃ kāleṣv āgrayaṇena ca | cāturmāsyaiś ca vividhair yajñaiś ca jñāvāptadakṣiṇaiḥ ||
ナーラダは言った。「彼は定められた時に、ダールシャ祭とパウルナマーサ祭を正しく執り行い、またアーグラヤーナの供えもなした。さらに、季節ごとに行うべき種々のチャートゥルマーシャ祭を修し、規定のダクシナー（祭祀の謝礼）を添えて滞りなく成就した。かくしてその生は、秩序と時を敬い、正しい施与を重んじつつ、ヴェーダの務めを厳しく守る規律に貫かれていた。」
