Night Vigil and Kṛṣṇa’s Instructions to Dāruka (निशि प्रजागरः—दारुकानुशासनम्)

धर्मेणाराधयन्‌ देवान्‌ बाणै: शत्रूज्जयंस्तथा । सर्वाण्यपि च भूतानि स्वगुणैरप्यरञज्जयत्‌,उन्होंने इस पृथ्वीको म्लेच्छों तथा तस्करोंसे रहित करके इसका उपभोग किया और धर्माचरणद्वारा देवताओंकी आराधना तथा बाणोंद्वारा शत्रुओंपर विजय करते हुए अपने गुणोंसे समस्त प्राणियोंका मनोरंजन किया था, उनके लिये मेघने अनेक वर्षोतक सुवर्णकी वर्षा की थी

dharmēṇārādhayan devān bāṇaiḥ śatrūñ jayaṃs tathā | sarvāṇy api ca bhūtāni svaguṇair apy arañjayat ||

ナーラダは言った。「正しき行いによって神々を礼拝し、矢によって敵を打ち破り、そして己の徳によって一切の生きとし生けるものを喜ばせた。」
