Abhimanyu’s Fall and the Battlefield Aftermath
आर्जुनिर्व्यचरद् व्योम्नि भृशं वै पक्षिराडिव । अर्जुनकुमार अभिमन्यु कौशिक आदि मार्गों (पैतरों) द्वारा तथा शीघ्रकारिता और बल- पराक्रमसे पक्षिराज गरुड़की भाँति भूतलकी अपेक्षा आकाशमें ही अधिक विचरण करने लगा
ārjunir vyacarat vyomni bhṛśaṃ vai pakṣirāḍ iva |
サञ्जयは語った。アルジュニ（アビマンニュ）は、凄まじい速さと力をもって、鳥の王のごとく天空を駆け巡った。この比喩は、地に縛られた常の動きを超える彼の卓絶した武の敏捷さを示し、同時に、その輝きが試される戦の危うい激烈さをも示唆する。
