अभिमन्योर् दारुणः संमर्दः
Abhimanyu’s fierce melee amid chariot formations
स विस्फार्य महच्चापं किरजन्निषुगणान् बहून् । तत् खण्डं पूरयामास यद् व्यदारयदार्जुनि:
sa visphārya mahācāpaṃ kirajann iṣugaṇān bahūn | tat khaṇḍaṃ pūrayāmāsa yad vyadārayad arjuniḥ ||
サञ्जयは言った。彼は大弓をいっぱいに引き絞り、無数の矢群を降らせて、アルジュナが切り裂いたその裂け目を埋めた—突破を残さぬよう攻めを押し立て、戦列を揺るがせなかった。
