The Tumultuous Battle around Droṇa’s Formation
अचिन्तयंश्न ते सर्वे पाण्डवानां महारथा: । कथं नो वासविस्त्रायाच्छत्रुभ्य इति मारिष,आर्य! उस समय समस्त पाण्डव महारथी यह सोचने लगे कि इन्द्रकुमार अर्जुन शत्रुओंके हाथसे हमारी रक्षा कैसे कर सकते हैं?
acintayaṃś ca te sarve pāṇḍavānāṃ mahārathāḥ | kathaṃ no vāsaviḥ trāyāc chatrubhya iti māriṣa ||
サञ्जयは語った。そこでパーンダヴァ方の大車戦士たちは皆、不安に沈んでこう思い巡らした。「ヴァーサヴィーの子、すなわちインドラの子アルジュナは、いかにして敵の手から我らを守り得るのか。」この一句は、戦における戦略と道義の両面での依存の瞬間を示し、正しき側の確信がただ一人の勇者の武威と責務に懸かっていることを語る。
