Droṇa-parva
तत् तमो भैरवं घोरं भयकर्त महाहवे । उत्तमास्त्रेण महता ज्यौतिषेणार्जुनोडवधीत्,उस महासमरमें प्रकट हुए उस भयदायक घोर एवं भयानक अंधकारको अर्जुनने अपने विशाल उत्तम ज्योतिर्मय अस्त्रद्वारा नष्ट कर दिया
tat tamo bhairavaṁ ghoraṁ bhayakṛt mahāhave | uttamāstreṇa mahatā jyautiṣeṇārjuno ’vadhīt ||
サンジャヤは語った。大いなる戦いのただ中、恐るべき凄惨な闇が現れ、万軍の心に恐怖を投げかけた。だがアルジュナは、光を放つ至高の強大なる武器を放ってその闇を払い滅ぼし—戦の混乱の中に再び明晰さと勇気を取り戻させた。
