Droṇa-parva Adhyāya 29 — Arjuna’s defeat of Vṛṣaka–Acalā and the neutralization of Śakuni’s māyā
देववाक्यात् प्रचिच्छेद शरेण भृशमर्जुन: । छिन्नमात्रें3शुके तस्मिन् रुद्धनेत्रो बभूव सः:
devavākyāt praciccheda śareṇa bhṛśam arjunaḥ | chinnamātreṃśuke tasmin ruddhanetro babhūva saḥ ||
サンジャヤは言った。「あの神の声にも似た宣言が響くや、アルジュナは迅速かつ烈しく一矢を放ち、それを断ち切った。旗が断たれたその刹那、敵は目を塞がれた者のように—視界も気勢も抑え込まれ、戦場のダルマの重圧の中で、アルジュナの決断の武威の前に立ちすくんだ。」
