अवोचं चैतदस्त्रं वै हमोघं भवतु क्षमे । नरकस्याभिरक्षार्थ नैनं कश्नचिद् वधिष्यति,“उसे देते समय मैंने कहा--“वसुधे! यह अमोघ वैष्णवास्त्र नरकासुरकी रक्षाके लिये उसके पास रहे। फिर उसे कोई भी नष्ट नहीं कर सकेगा
avocaṃ caitad astraṃ vai amoghaṃ bhavatu kṣame | narakasyābhirakṣārthaṃ nainaṃ kaścid vadhiṣyati ||
サンジャヤは言った。「その武器を授けるとき、私はこう宣言した。『おお大地よ、このヴァイシュナヴァの神矢は決して外れぬものとなれ。ナーラカの護りのために彼のもとに留まれ。以後、誰も彼を討ち滅ぼすことはできぬ。』」
