हेमोत्तमप्रतिच्छन्नैर्हयैर्वातसमैर्जवे । अभ्यवर्तन्त सैन्यानि सर्वाण्येव युधिष्ठिरम्,सोनेके उत्तम आवरणोंसे ढके हुए, वायुके समान वेगशाली घोड़ोंद्वारा सारी सेनाओंने महाराज युधिष्ठिरको सब ओरसे घेर रखा था

サञ्जयは言った。最上の黄金の馬具に覆われ、風のごとく疾い馬に乗って、諸軍は押し寄せ、四方から王ユディシュティラを取り囲んだ。
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights the ethical pressure of warfare: even a dharmic king like Yudhi63hira can be surrounded by superior force, and the test becomes maintaining resolve and right judgment while fulfilling ones duty under extreme threat.
Sanjaya reports that the opposing forces, mounted on very swift horses adorned with excellent golden coverings, collectively advanced and formed a tight encirclement around Yudhi63hira on the battlefield.
