- १३६ ॥- द्रोणपर्वकी सम्पूर्ण एलोक-संख्या ९९१७८ श्रवण-महिमा स्वधीते यत् फल वेदे तदस्मिन्नपि पर्वणि । क्षत्रियाणामभीरूणां युक्तमत्र महद् यश:
drauṇaparvaki sampūrṇa śloka-saṅkhyā 99178 | śravaṇa-mahimā svadhīte yat phalaṃ vede tad asminn api parvaṇi | kṣatriyāṇām abhīrūṇāṃ yuktam atra mahad yaśaḥ ||
『ドローナ・パルヴァ』の全詩節数は九万九千百七十八である。これを聴聞することによって得られる功徳と浄化の力は、正しく学び終えた者にヴェーダが説く果報と同一であり、その果報はこのパルヴァにもまた具わる。ここでは、無畏のクシャトリヤに大いなる名誉がふさわしく帰せられる。
