एवमेते वरा लब्धा: पुरस्ताद् विद्धि शौरिणा । स एष देवश्लवरति मायया मोहयञ्जगत्,तुझे मालूम होना चाहिये, इस प्रकार श्रीकृष्णने पहले ही भगवान् शंकरसे ये अनेक वरदान पा लिये हैं। वे ही भगवान् नारायण श्रीकृष्णके रूपमें अपनी मायासे इस संसारको मोहित करते हुए विचर रहे हैं
evam ete varā labdhāḥ purastād viddhi śauriṇā | sa eṣa devaślāvarati māyayā mohayaj jagat |
ヴィヤーサは言った。「知れ。これらの恩寵は、はるか昔にシャウリ（クリシュナ）がすでに得たものである。まさにその神なるナーラーヤナが、クリシュナの姿として顕れ、己がマーヤーによって衆生を惑わせつつ、この世を巡っているのだ。」
