श्रीनारायण उवाच त्वत्सम्भूता भूतकृतो वरेण्य गोप्तारोड5स्य भुवनस्यादिदेव । आविश्येमां धरणीं ये5भ्यरक्षन्‌ पुरा पुराणीं तव देवसृष्टिम्‌ू,श्रीनारायण बोले--सर्वश्रेष्ठ आदिदेव! जिन्होंने इस पृथ्वीमें समाकर आपकी पुरातन दिव्य सृष्टिकी रक्षा की थी तथा जो इस विश्वकी भी रक्षा करनेवाले हैं, वे सम्पूर्ण प्राणियोंकी सृष्टि करनेवाले प्रजापतिगण भी आपसे ही उत्पन्न हुए हैं

Transliteration

śrī-nārāyaṇa uvāca | tvat-sambhūtā bhūta-kṛto vareṇya goptāro ’sya bhuvanasyādi-deva | āviśyemāṃ dharaṇīṃ ye ’bhyarakṣan purā purāṇīṃ tava deva-sṛṣṭim ||

Translation

シュリー・ナーラーヤナは言った。「最も勝れた原初の神よ。衆生を造るプラジャーパティたちは、あなたから生まれた。彼らはこの世界の守護者であり、かつてこの大地に入り、あなたの古き神聖なる創造を護ったのである。」
