इस प्रकार श्रीमह्ाभारत द्रोणपर्वके अन्तर्गत नारायणास्त्रमोक्षपर्वमें अश्वत्थामाका पराक्रमविषयक दो सौवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ

Transliteration

iti prakāraḥ śrīmahābhārate droṇaparvake antargata-nārāyaṇāstramokṣaparvaṇi aśvatthāmāka-parākramaviṣayaka dviśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ

Translation

サञ्जयは語った。「かくして『聖マハーバーラタ』のドローナ・パルヴァにおいて――とりわけナーラーヤナ・アストラの放擲（およびその収束）を扱う章段にて――アシュヴァッターマンの武勇を述べる第二百章は終わった。」この奥書めいた一句は、戦記の流れに厳粛な区切りを置き、神威の武器の重さと、それを振るう者が負う倫理の重圧を際立たせる。
