Shloka 173

नान्य: पाज्चाल्यपुत्रेभ्यो विद्यते भुवि पापकृत्‌ *वास्तवमें भीष्मका वध करनेवाला भी तेरा महान्‌ पापाचारी भाई ही है। इस पृथ्वीपर पांचालराजके पुत्रोंके सिवा दूसरा कोई ऐसा पाप करनेवाला नहीं है

nānyaḥ pāñcālyaputrebhyo vidyate bhuvi pāpakṛt

サञ्जयは言った。「この地上において、パーンチャーリーの子らを除き、かほどまでに凶悪な所業をなす罪人は他にいない。――この言葉は、その殺害を重大な道義の罪として位置づけ、非難をただその一団のみに帰している。」
