Shloka 49

तस्याचार्यस्य वृद्धस्य द्रोहो नित्योपकारिण: । कृत्वे हानार्यरस्माभी राज्यार्थे लुब्धबुद्धिभि:

tasya ācāryasya vṛddhasya droho nityopakāriṇaḥ | kṛtve hānāryair asmābhī rājārthe lubdhabuddhibhiḥ ||

アルジュナは言った。「我らは王権を欲する貪りの心に駆られ、常に恩を施してくれた老いた師に対して、裏切りを働いてしまった。かかる振る舞いは卑しく、戦のさなかであっても我らの大義に道義の咎を刻む。」
