इति श्रीमहा भारते द्रोणपर्वणि नारायणास्त्रमोक्षपर्वणि अर्जुनवाक्ये षण्णवत्यधिकशततमो< ध्याय:

かくして、聖なる『マハーバーラタ』ドローナ・パルヴァ、ナーラーヤナ武器の放擲を語る段において、「アルジュナの言葉」と記された第百九十六章は終わる。これは跋文（コロフォン）形式の結語であり、当該の出来事を戦記全体の中に位置づけ、神威の武器の重大さと、それに対しダルマに則って抑制し、あるいは応じねばならぬ戦士たちの倫理的重荷を際立たせる。
