Shloka 186

जलेन क्लेदयन्त्यन्ये विमुच्य कवचान्यपि । कितने ही सैनिक अधिक चोट खाये हुए अपने पुत्र, पिता, मित्र और भाइयोंको रथपर चढ़ाकर तथा उनके कवच खोलकर उनके घावोंको जलसे भिगो रहे थे

jalena kledayantyanye vimucya kavacānyapi |

ユディシュティラは言った。「ある者たちは鎧までも外し、傷口を水で湿らせていた。」戦の残虐のただ中で、ひととき看護の倫理が立ち現れる。傷ついた子、父、友、兄弟を戦車に載せ、防具を解き、水で創を手当てする——戦の機構の内にあっても人の慈しみがなお息づくことを示す光景である。
