हयपृष्ठगताश्षान्ये कृष्यन्ते<र्थच्युतासना: । गजस्कन्धेषु संस्यूता नाराचैश्वनलितासना:

Transliteration

hayapṛṣṭhagatāś cānye kṛṣyante 'rthacyutāsanāḥ | gajaskandheṣu saṃsyūtā nārācaiś cānalitāsanāḥ ||

Translation

ユディシュティラは言った。「ある者は馬の背にまたがりながら、戦車から落ちて座を失い、そのまま引きずられてゆく。ある者は象の肩に乗るが、nā r āca（ナ―ラーチャ）矢によって座が燃え上がる。これぞ戦の恐るべき混乱、誇りも地位も崩れ、苦しみが四方に現れるのだ。」
