सादिभिश्न हतै: शूरै: संकीर्णा वसुधाभवत् | टूटे पहियेवाले रथों, गिराये हुए विशाल ध्वजों और मारे गये शूरवीर घुड़सवारोंसे वहाँकी भूमि आच्छादित हो गयी थी
sa-ādibhiś ca hataiḥ śūraiḥ saṅkīrṇā vasudhābhavat |
サンジャヤは言った。そこでは大地が倒れ伏した者たちで埋まり、戦の残骸と討たれた英雄たちの屍に覆われていた。車輪の砕けた戦車、地に投げ伏せられた大旗、そして命尽きた騎馬の勇士らが、戦場一面に散り敷かれていた。
