दर्शयन् व्यचरद् युद्धे द्रोणस्यान्तचिकीर्षया । चरतस्तस्य तान् मार्गान् विचित्रान् खड़्गचर्मिण:
darśayan vyacarad yuddhe droṇasyāntacikīrṣayā | caratas tasya tān mārgān vicitrān khaḍgacarmiṇaḥ ||
サンジャヤは言った。武威を示しつつ、彼はドローナを討ち果たさんとの決意を抱いて戦場を駆け巡った。剣と盾を携えたその戦士が陣中を縦横に行くとき、驚くべき多様な攻め筋を描き出した――ドローナへと迫り、戦の要請のうちに苛烈な目的を遂げんがための機動であった。
