इति श्रीमहाभारते द्रोणपर्वणि द्रोणवधपर्वणि युधिष्ठिरासत्यक थने नवत्यधिकशततमो<ध्याय:
iti śrīmahābhārate droṇaparvaṇi droṇavadhaparvaṇi yudhiṣṭhirāsatyakathane navatyadhikaśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ
かくして『聖マハーバーラタ』の「ドローナ・パルヴァ」—とりわけ「ドローナ殺し」の章段—において、ユディシュティラの不実の言葉を語る第百九十章は終わる。この奥書は、戦争が迎える重大な倫理的転回を刻む。勝利への圧力は、最もダルマに縛られた王にさえ瑕ある言明を強い、戦が道徳の明晰さを蝕み、正しき者に長く残る責任の重荷を負わせることを示している。
