Transliteration

tathā carantaṃ saṃgrāme bhṛśaṃ samaradurjayam |

Translation

サञ्जयは言った。ドローナーチャールヤが戦場のただ中を縦横に駆け—猛々しく、戦いにおいてはきわめて討ち難い者として—進みゆくとき、ヴィラータ王とドルパダ王はその破壊的な進撃を食い止めんとして、相並んで彼に向かい進軍した。
