Transliteration
Pāñcālāstu viśeṣeṇa droṇasāyakapīḍitāḥ.
Translation
サンジャヤは報告した。「とりわけパンチャーラ軍は、ドローナの矢によって甚だしく苦しめられた——圧迫され、責め苛まれたのである。この一句は、ただ一人の武芸の達人が戦の道義的重みをいかに増幅し得るかを示す。戦場における技と義務は、敵方にとっては凝縮された苦痛と喪失の体験となるのだ。」
