त्वं तु सर्वाभिशड्कित्वान्निष्ठर: पापनिश्चय:
tvaṃ tu sarvābhiśaṅkitvān niṣṭhuraḥ pāpaniścayaḥ
だが汝は――誰彼かまわず疑い――心を硬くし、悪に定まった決意を抱くに至った。サンジャヤの言葉はこれを道徳的な診断として示す。すなわち、不信が心を石のようにし、その内なる腐敗が、戦乱の渦中で汝の選択を突き動かしているのだ。
