Transliteration

sā kimarthaṁ tu karṇena pravṛtte samare purā | na devakīsute muktā phālgune vāpi saṁjaya ||

Translation

ドリタラーシュトラは言った。「サンジャヤよ、なぜそれは早く放たれなかったのだ—カルナがすでに戦に入っていたというのに—デーヴァキーの子（クリシュナ）にも、ファールグナ（アルジュナ）にも。」
